The International Education Organization (IEO) is proud to introduce a unique and innovative health education program for mothers in rural areas, focused on children's health and the importance of immunization. This program uses drama and storytelling to educate and engage mothers in rural areas and to promote health literacy and access to services in these communities.
The program consists of several courses designed to address a specific aspect of children's health and immunization. These courses are delivered by a team of actors who use short plays, integrating folk stories and health education messages, to bring the topics to life.
This course provides an overview of the fundamental concepts of children's health, including child development, nutrition, and hygiene. Mothers in rural areas will learn about the key factors that influence children's health and well-being and how they can promote healthy habits and practices in their families through drama and storytelling.
This course focuses on the importance of immunization, including the benefits and risks of different types of vaccines and the role of mothers in ensuring that their children are fully immunized. Mothers in rural areas will learn about the national immunization schedule and how they can access vaccines and other health services for their children through engaging dramas that mix folk stories with health education messages.
This course focuses on the skills and strategies needed to communicate effectively about children's health and immunization. Mothers in rural areas will learn about different communication methods, such as storytelling, role-playing, and public speaking, and how they can use these to educate and advocate for children's health and immunization in their communities. This course is delivered through interactive dramas promoting health literacy and engaging mothers in rural areas.
This course focuses on the advocacy skills and strategies needed to promote children's health and immunization in their communities. Mothers in rural areas will learn about different forms of advocacy, such as lobbying, community mobilization, and media engagement, and how they can use these to promote health literacy and access to community services. The course is delivered through thought-provoking dramas that mix folk stories with health education messages, inspiring mothers in rural areas to become advocates for their health and the health of their communities.
IEO's health education program for mothers in rural areas is designed to be accessible, engaging, and relevant to the needs and experiences of mothers in these communities. The program is taught by experienced actors and health educators and is supported by a network of local organizations, health professionals, and community leaders. The goal is to empower mothers in rural areas with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to promote the health and well-being of their children and communities and to ensure that all children have access to life-saving vaccines and health services.
